Details: Covey Sports foam ankle donut pads. Sold as 1-pair (two pads) or 2-pairs (four pads) for regular boots, ski/snowboard boots, skates, shoes, and anywhere else that you need extra padding. Each donut pad (typically placed around the ankle knobs but good for other areas of the body as well) will fill the valleys and create focal compression when snuggly wrapped. This prevents or eliminates swelling that can delay recovery. Circular foam pads with center cut outs to effectively relieve pain at pressure points. These will also significantly improve comfort levels where blisters have already developed. Position the opening over the affected area before lacing skates (or boots/shoes) and you will experience instant relief. Each donut pad is 1/4" thick with self-adhesive backing. If using adhesive, simply peel off the backing and place adhesive to sock, clothing, or on inside of boot/shoe. Sold in pairs. Additional Fitting Tips For Use With Ski and Snowboard Boots: First remove the liner from the ski boot by holding the top of the boot cuff from the back with one hand then hold the top of the liner and push forward, the liner should pop out easily. Place your foot in the liner and locate your inner ankle bone by pressing against it. Stick one doughnut on the outside of the liner so your ankle bone sits in the hole in the middle of the doughnut. Trim off any excess material towards the front of the ankle which may cause pressure points on the instep. Replace the liner in the boot and try on. You may need to fit a second doughnut to fully alleviate the pressure, simply stick on over the first one
