I used to play softball when I was younger for about 14 years. I’m going to be coaching this next season in 2020 since I moved recently and l’m looking to get back into the sport. Personally, I thought that helping younger girls learn would be better than just playing the sport myself because I remember teams having an issue with finding coaches. I came onto this site to look up some drills prior to have a binder full once the season starts. I remember using something similar to these balls in high school. These would be a great exercise for the girls!

My biggest challenge when coaching softball is the fact that I can’t always relate to the girls on my team because I haven’t “been there, done that.” Head coaching is still REALLY new to me, it’s only my 2nd season (not 2nd year). I’m still learning the ropes and learning what it means to be confident as a coach even when you’re going crazy inside. Thank you for all the resources you provide. Truly helpful.
These would be awesome as we just have a new team starting and dont have alot of money to buy equipment. we do use your score book and love how big it is to right everything down for the play
